Housing
PARC Housing -
PARC has a variety of rent geared to income housing available to youth involved with programs at PARC. We offer shared co-ed living in four houses in Toronto, two in the east end and two in the west end. The houses are owned by the city and managed by PARC and are under the Tenant Protection Act. Youth living in our housing must sign a lease agreement, live cooperatively with the other tenants and take care of the house. PARC also has agreements with several supportive housing providers who offer single dwelling units to PARC. Youth must be involved with PARC to be eligible. The housing provider assumes the management and PARC offers supports to the youth.
One Stop Housing -
One Stop Housing is a service offered by PARC to assist any youth looking for housing. The One Stop Worker recruits landlords willing to rent to youth, looks for appropriate vacancy listings and works with the youth and their support agency to match youth to housing. This service is funded by the City of Toronto Homeless Initiatives Fund.
